Sumner Cabaret 2012

Sumner Theatre Group will be putting on a shortened version of our usual Cabaret show in 2012. This is to do the best we can in our temporary post-quake venue of the Sumner School old hall.

Note: that show dates for 2012 have changed from our usual Oct-Dec season.

Our first show for 2012 is  Friday 10 August and we will run for six shows, Friday and Saturday night, over three weekends.

This change is just valid for 2012 and will be reassessed for 2013 once we know more about the rebuild of our beloved community centre!

A community that cares

Sumner - sleepy seaside suburb of Christchurch New Zealand - is home to the Sumner Theatre Group (STG). This energetic volunteer group of amateur thespians produces a variety cabaret show every year. Singers, dancers, prop-masters, lighting, stage crew and more; all give their time to produce a show that is always “wow - even better than last year's!”

STG is affiliated to the Sumner Community Centre. Tickets to each show are sold as a fundraiser for the centre or other local groups.
